Shooting in the rain and cold with a red dot on a handgun

I strategically place grip tape on my carry guns for situations much like this or in case I need to use it with bloody hands. It was 40 degrees and raining which got the gun and red dot wet since I wasn't under cover. I still wanted to see how well I could work the gun with cold, wet, stiff hands with a red dot with water on it. I place the grip tape on my guns so that it stays away from my skin when I'm carrying them.
